Diaries
As someone given to "living in the mind" as one reader once mentioned, I have always been given to wondering if I should keep a diary. Unfortunately, I am also not someone who is regular at anything ... just ask the folks who work in the gym I am a member of.
However, I did a search for diary on google and this is something that came up. Worth a quick read

As with most things in life, there are points of view against and for it, and there is medical scientific research that supports either side. Lends credence to something I have always believed - it is possible to prove almost anything in the world.
I also searched for online or free downloadable diaries and didn't find anything. Another market opportunities for those relentlessly pursuing the online retail customer with free goodies - is anyone listening at Goog and Yahoo?

hmm...yes that was a nice piece - the website. It is possible that the written media is restrictive. It only shows one part of your personality while discrediting the possibility of the reader seeing any other layers to your personality.
This blog is a diary in some ways - no?
Also i don’t think anyone cares about regularity while writing a diary.
Generally the reader is selfish and kind of one dimensional while reading anyone. You never can really build the whole picture if you don’t have insight to other dimensions of the writers mind. Sometimes the writer is not very good/comfortable with showing other dimensions. Sometimes the reader is not at the same wavelength as the writer and does not see the essence of what is written.
Is that not the reason that someone can enjoy a particular book and someone else thinks it is just terrible!!

--- very true .... like still photos Vs a moving camera. The former holds up a bad mirror while the latter is closer to the truth.
