Butter Masala Dosa at Sarvana Bhavan in Sunnyvale ....
verdict - the chutneys rock almost as much as they do at the Sarvana Bhavan in Asoknagar Madras. The dosa is mostly butter but very agreeable.


The cooks are all Mexicans and so are the waiters. Go Mexico! I wouldn't be too surprised if they told me they prepared the batter as well.

Sarvana Bhavan rocks in Bangkok and Malaysia too....:)
I was more fascinated by Ganesh Restaurant in Bangkok. They prepare MUCHHH better Uttapam than anywhere in India. They beat even Chennai in that.
The cooks were Thai pretty little girls...Or may be they just looked little ;)

Amused! I wonder how the knowledge transfer happened and in which language...the chennai cook teaching the mexican how to make masala dosa...guessing the Mexicans dont own it atleast...

i can cook to save my life, but I don't really try to cook when I'm traveling. Too much work.

Ohh hooo.... Then wat abt the upcoming kadbu chakli....??? I will assume you have no clue how to make them...You going to miss it? :)

But wait a sec... Help is a very generic word...Eating and appreciating is also help. Even if you grated the coconut and helped, u still wont know how to make it.... HAHA... LOL ;)
